I just got my IPAQ 1940 back from HP. In the past I was able to do
some downloading of newsgroups (i.e.: Qusnetsoft Newsreader) and my MSN
mail ( HTTPmail) while it is doing a USB Active Sync. Now I can not
connect to these programs. Maybe I am missing something but am I
suppose to set something on the IPAQ to connect to these and other
site?

It does a normal active sync with no problem. Also if it makes a
difference I am using Norton Symantec Internet Security 2004
Professional on my computer.

Thanks for the advice,
