Can't Connect to VPN with Intel NetConnect using RSA SecurID

Help!
I'm trying to connect to a client site using an RSA SecurID card and
Intel NetConnect. This works with plenty of other computers on my
network, so it's probably an issue with my laptop configuration. I had
a Cisco VPN client installed, but I uninstalled it due to known
incompatibilities.
So, I get my login screen, I enter my username passcode prefix and
stem, and hit OK. I get the login screen again after a short pause.
My log says things like:
[tunnel]:Connecting to [IP Address]
[tunnel]:Connecting to [Second IP Address]
[tunnel]:Verifying with [IP Address]
[tunnel]:Verification failure with [IP Address]
[tunnel]:Connecting to [IP Address]
[tunnel]:Connecting to [Second IP Address]

What's the issue, here?
