I had an issue this weekend...I was ordering parts for my new build, including the P5B Deluxe, which was on sale that weekend for $225.
The fraud prevention system detected my non-US IP address and cancelled the order. Since it was Sunday I couldn't contact Newegg to fix it. They actually deleted my account. I'm not sure if it was just the country (I work in Africa intermittently) or their system blocks all orders from IP addresses outside the US.
A customer service rep fixed me up and restored the account, and said they would credit me $25 for not being able to get the mobo on sale. However they did not do this when my order went through and I have sent another email requesting the credit...Will update when they get back to me.
Isnt it against most US company rules never to sell to Africa? Well thats good they are sucessfull in watching for fraud protection, too bad it was against someone that wasnt involving fraud.
