Idiot needs help choosing new graphics card

Hi,

I am not really an idiot except where it comes to computers. I have a Dell Dimension 4400 and am getting a new 1905FP 19 inch Flat Panel Monitor. I want a video card that will allow me to do photoediting.
Many of those programs require a resolution higher than I am currently running, hence the new monitor. My current card came with my computer and is NVVIDIA GeForce2 MX. I want the cheapest solution that will allow me to get decent results for photoediting. Can anybody help?

I also need something that will actually go into the computer without calling in the troops since I don't have any troops to call. Thanks so much.

under 100 bucks, u can get a 6600, 9800 pro, but for photo editing u should buy a bigger LCD, 23"

The 6600 card is what Im thinking also. It should perform well with photo thingi....
