Sorry, it is not practical to do this. To avoid damage to the printer
electronics the printer does an electrical check of the cartridge, which
includes checking that a minimum number of the firing resistors are OK and also
that the cartridge ID is correct. This test includes checking nearly every pin
in the cartridge and only a few are allowed to be open or shorted. It might be
possible to design some electronics that would spoof a cartridge but it would
cost quite a bit more than just getting a cartridge.
