Is Fibre Channel better than beer?

Hey everybody,

I've got a question for ya....I have a shit load of money and cant decide if I should waste it on beer or fibre channel for my gaming rig? I want ultimate hard disk speed but at the same time I want loads of beer. What should I do? Perhaps 4 SATA disks in a Raid 0 would do the trick? Is SCSI really a rich man's whore? Maybe I should just buy a 30 pack of cheap beer and say to hell with it? What would you do if money was no object and you wanted the fastest access times?

Beer is good for making your computer seem fast, but to make the Hard Drive performance fast I would go with 15,000 RPM SCSI drives. 1 would be fast but 2 in a RAID 0 would be SWEET. Assuming of course that you have a fast dual processor system.

Like the Fujitsu MAU3073NC 74GB 15,000 RPM 8MB Cache SCSI Ultra320 80pin Hard Drive

They make controlers now for PCI express too

intel INT-SRCU42E PCI Express x8 SCSI Controller

But then again, If I had more money than sence I would most likely spend it on lots of beer and wait for solid state hard drives.
