URGENT Help PLZ

hi, i have a dfi lanparty expert mobo, amd 4800x2 cpu, 1gb corsair xms 3200, and a Maxtor Diamond 10 250 gb sata2 16mb hdd, the problem is i cant install windows no matter what, ive tried with first xp, then xp with sp1, sp2 ...... even with the xp 64 bits, but when i get to the logo of windows screen (the one with the logo and the "moving bars") it just stays in there!!! what is wrong or what should i do help please thx in advance.

Maxtor SATA2 discs have problems with nforce. Check their website

try to check your HD if it has no bad sectors or what PSU are you using. How many "watt". try to change a PSU with a higher wattage and try to install XP again. maybe this will help.

I have experienced same problem with yours a few months ago and it's all about my PSU. I've change my PSU to HEC 550watt and everything runs good.
