Hello all..

I dont know if this is the right place to post this question...but ur help will be appreciated..

I have already bought the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000 (Bluetooth)

I will be building a new system and i want to fresh install windows xp sp1.. my question...when i boot my system first time..will the bluetooth kb and mouse work directly out of the box??

the RF frequency keyboard n mouse work on first boot...will the bluetooth work...

You will have to install the software for the blue tooth first. I don't think your wireless kb and mouse are plug and play. So if your are building a new computer then you have to use a ps2 or usb connection keyboard in order to install the window. Your mobo should have both ps2 and usb plug, and if you don't have one around then you should be able to get a ps2 kb for around $5. Good Luck.

You will have to enable the ir port in the bios

IR port?? isnt IR = Infra Red...why do i need to enable that..


Chuckhissle, how come my wireless RF keyboard works directly on a new system? isnt there a way to enable bluetooth on DOS?
