Question Thank you for taking the time to read my posting. I’m new round here and require some help choosing a Graphics Card.

I have chosen the AMD X2 4200+ chip and an ASUS A8N32-SLI motherboard.

I have around £150 ($225) to spend and I’m was interested in the ATI in Wonder cards as would like the option of a TV turner and recorder as well as the option of fast encoding speeds.

Are the All in wonder cards any good or is it better to buy a GFX card and add a separate TV tuner instead?

I don’t really do a great deal of gaming but am into graphics apps like Photoshop & Illustrator CS2 etc....

Thanks in advance.

ATI Radeon X800 GT (SE) 256MB GDDR3 VIVO All-in-Wonder

PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express)

Gainward BLISS GeForce 6800 GS "Goes Like Hell" 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

I would save a wee bit more money and get Gainward BLISS GeForce 6800 as it is £180 but worth every penny. The PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB is if you cant sqeez a bit more. And the Radeon X800 GT All-in-Wonder is the card for you if you want TV as well for the £150. :wink:

Save some moneym and go for a X2 3800+, and you should be able to get a 7800GT. Also, you can save some money by getting a non-SLI mobo.

@jonno

512mb on a 6800GS is an overkill, the card can't handle 512mb.

I have a wee try of 6800gs i thought it was very good for the money also it costs another £50+ for a 7800gt and i cant tell theres not much difference, well not £50s worth. Also prozac said go for a x2 3800 well i have a new id:

AMD Athlon 3700+
Good non-SLi board
x1900xt for about the same price just another way to look at it.
