I am curious who here uses WIndows XP64 and what pros and cons you have for me from using it? Should i set my computer to dual boot because some things dont work in XP64 as well?

I am having issues loading folders with many images that are large res, i have heard XP64 helps a lot, but i have also heard a faster HDD setup(raid) would work as well.....I am considering one if not both.

Thanx

from what i understand, 99% of all compatibility issues have been worked out w/ WinXP X64. Everyone has stable drivers and software works fine in 32bit mode.

the biggest issue was drivers, but that's been resolved. (assuming you have quasi name brand stuff)

So if i partioned and setup a dual boot with XP64 i would be fine? I have Gigabyte mobo, and my gpu is hella old because i need to send my 6800GT in for service and i am lazy.

Any personal experiance with anyone using it? preferably folder with lots of pics, and Photoshop.....that would be sweet.

Its good to hear the kinks are worked out.
