And this matters why? This is largely a symbolic gesture to maintain the "peace" with various authorities and stops nothing. Folks that pirate material will continue as they always have.

People used to pirate before Google, and they will continue to pirate after Google is dead and gone. Nothing against Google, as they do need to maintain a reputation.

Well, it´s time to change search engine. Not that I need to search for The Pirate Bay (I have it in my favorites) , but I hate censorship in any form. Censorship is the sign of dictatorship.
