I got $500 to spend. Give or take.

I want some good computer headphones for my PC, but don't know where to begin. I do a lot of gaming. I also like to watch DVD's.

I think I would prefer a closed headphones, but am open to a open style if they are better. I don't want to use a amp. I just want some headphones. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yeah, a pair of 10 buck ones so I could clobber you over the head with them and then nick the the remainder off your dumb rich ass.

$500 for headphones, indeed.

Buy a hooker, an eight ball, and 5 cases of lager and a pair of $10 lazer headphones, you Git, and have a focking good time!

Ask this as*shole:

mailto:GaryKrakow@FEEDBACK.MSNBC.com

he's a self proclaimed audio expert who loves to give advice and recommendations for overpriced audio equipment. In this review, he recommonds a pair of $350 portable iPod speakers. Not unlike the ones u can get at compusa for $50. According to him, $350 is cheap. Methinks he's a jaded coc*k sucker.

Drop $490 on some decent bookshelf Polk Audios and spend the remaining
$10 on duct tape to mount them to your head. Although, if you move a lot
during gaming, I suggest using 10" bolts through a pre-drilled hole.

I can appreciate a good pair of headphones. But >$500 for a pair? Come on. It's a little ridiculous.

But hey, it's your money. Go for it bud.

I am not looking to spend $500....

That is my price cap. I decided to go with HD595 headphones. Everyone says they are the best (within my price range) and they only cost $175.

Those of you who are interested in what i picked up: http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsi [...] id=newHD-3

According to that dude on MSNBC, that company makes the best headphones.

And $175 isn't a bad price at all. Bose tries to sell those noise cancelation headphones for $300. Pffffffffffft.

Headphones for gaming do not need to be ''high end''
they must be '' fun end''...

For the 500$ buck get social counseling advice.

No, but I sure got open running sores.

Actually, that's just a bloody nose. Try using only a couple fingers at a time
in the future.

I thought they were self-lubrication pores...

Yes, but that's just a beneficial side-effect.

There were some Sony ones that came with a big box that looked like a CPU. they were wireless and could reproduce 5.1 Sound and everything. They were like $800

They were for anti-social teen Japanese gadget freaks on the streets of Tokyo who'd sushi their own parents if it meant they had the latest craze in the palm of their hands; or in this case, strapped to their heads.

Hahaha

I just wanted him to know there are headphones that go up to that price. I read onn a magazine that they were good but too pricy and then they just disappeared from the stores and internet.

For all the crazy people who think im millionaire or japanese, Im not :)
