Unable to install Windows 7

Recently out of the blue my computer started telling me that the bootmgr was corrupt or missing.
Since then I have tried every possibility to resolve the problem, including buying a new HHD.
All seems well when I rewrite the MBR, no errors and the program loads. After that the MBR is messed up again - it's a nightmare! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input.

Reset your BIOS and reinstall Windows.

Are you cloning the drive over to the new one or doing a fresh installation?
