HELLLO.

When i first bought this setup [see sig] the AUTO cpu voltage was 1.424V.....after stressing/burning/overclocking it for 4 weeks ...... TODAY when i changed it back to stock speed 2.0Ghz the AUTO voltage was 1.36 and it is very stable for 7.5hours on prime [i closed it].

So the bruning in made the cpu to run on 1.36V instead of 1.40? ...was never possible before.

Lots of people have had success undervolting these Venice chips, particularly if they are trying to make a quiet machine like for a media center. You say it wouldn't run on 1.4 volts originally, that sounds out of character for these chips.

As for the difference in the "auto" voltage setting, I wouldn't think that should happen unless you updated the BIOS. The CPU should be read the same and the board supply the same voltage under the auto setting. Maybe there is some degradation in your mobo power circuitry or something...

hi dude .. 1.35-1.40 is its official voltage so it is normal. Meanwhile ı pulled back my settings too 240*10 due to ram problem. Age of 3 was restarting and hf2 wasn't running at all. When ı got my arctic silver 5 ı will try 260*10 for cpu and /11 for ram :)

Ya man i figured that 240x10 is the best setting for my ram....since after 240x10 the ram starts to overclock and my ram isnt good nuff [i knwo ive tried].

Also if i decrease the divider then the ram goes way down to like 170Mhz if i wanna do 250x10 e.g [plus the super pi score is 36 seconds since ram is at slow speed]. Otherwise i get 35 seconds with 240x10 and ram at 200Mhz.

Right now im just trying to hopefully burn in the cpu so that i can acheive 2.4Ghz at a lower voltaeg........WHAT ARE U RUNNING UR 2.4Ghz at [voltage] ?

Ttyl....got a physics midterm laterZ

It is running at stock voltage at 2.4 it was 1.375-1.410 with my old mobo (epox 9nda3I) And it is 1.460 with my present mobo (epox 9npa3j) it is also the stock settings but this damn mobo sends 1.46 at default ı did not understand why but ı don't care as long as it runs fine I will get my thermal compund tomorrow and as soon as my temperatures decraease ı will try to increase the cpu speed by using ram divider..

good luck with your exam
