PCIe- ver 2

I hear the next main release of motherboards will have PCIe-v2

That is about 1 year from now (like many other things) . But is there any reason to care now?
Or does anyone know if PCIe cards will fit in PCIe-v2 ?

By the way, I typed PCIe-v2 in google and I found this info in 10 sec. You may want to try that in the future if you want immediate results
