CRT quality and small as LCD that is awesome. I'll bet its more expensive than an LCD.

Key word being "almost".

This could be an awesome technology, but it has to come to the marketplace first, and then has to come down to reasonable prices.

But by all means, I encourage you all to look into this technology at the first possible moment. Let me know us know how it works out, and I may jump on that wagon in a year or two.

SED is going to be a great technology except it inherits one flaw from LCDs, the picture doesn't scale well with different resolutions.
