Another "I can't believe it's a sim" moment.....

ActiveSky, MegaScenery Pacific n/w, heading west about 50 mi away from
Quillayute KUIL, VFR from Tacoma. Nearest navaid is Tatoosh VOR, 22 miles
from Quillayute - try that in nasty weather and NOT using GPS or Map view!!
But not without a sectional, you won't have a prayer! I didn't realize the
field was unlit until trying to find it - had to go to spot view to see it
passing under me.... d:->))

yep.. will have to check out that area. From last nights' flight
(which was a thrill) LAX to OAK. It's the Hi-ALT, SID, STAR
route at FL350 from FSNav exported to FS-FP and .txt file
for kneeboard.

At around 6pm, it takes off Rwy7 LAX heading east.. then turning
over the city. Notice way_.5 and way_.6 are the same.. probably
where the SID and STAR join? Not sure. There's ~20 mile run at
10'000 proceeding east of OAK descending for the baseturn..
then on final. FSNav will produce flight ALT profile.

Don.. saved the image to disk and ran some histograms over it to
adjust lo/hi luminosity with expansion (curved midrange slope) then
saturation.. the scene looks marvelous. I need a new PC!
