  1. Ive got a x1900XT and ive been thinking about watercooling too. One that i have found is from Koolance. Its the VID-200-L06 (Vid) and it cools the memory too unlike some of the VGA waterblocks that ive seen. So this is one option.

    btw, a better bang for your buck would have been an x1900xt, avg $100 less than XTX and will overclock to XTX speeds quite easily.
  2. so it is possible to take that huge fan off and pop on some water cooling? thats my big question, cuz if its not then i dont wanna mess with it

    find one of those water cooling blocks for your graphics card if you can and see the compatibility charts
  4. The link that i provided above is a cooler that will work for x1900 series cards. Yes it is possible to take off the current HSF assembly off the card but do so at your own risk as it will void your warranty.
  5. well its better to oc with water then without :P so id rather just put water on it then just the air, well thanks for ur help
  6. watercooling+1900XTX=good idea!!

    Sure it OC better with water, but if you have a decent pump and a nice rad with low volt fans, you'll get a really quiet system.

    Just make sure the card is a bit ventilated so that the mofset doesn't fry prematurely

    Go for it!

    Water gives you better cooling than air, so with better cooling, you can OC higher. That how it works.

    Pffft, Balderdash!

    If THIS is your 'air';

    Then AIR will OC higher. :twisted: :tongue: :twisted:
  8. -11 C? Pfffft...
    Do it like Conan O'Brien, visit Finland:D

    We already had a -20 degree week a couple of weeks back.. now its just -15.. :D -30 isn't uncommon, either..
  9. The cooler the better. :D
  10. If you got weather like that, go for the watercooling and just lead the rad outside, thisway you won't need a fan! 8)
