A&P Wire Service and Dry Cleaners

Sincerity Space Cleaning, a division of Sincerity Universal Neatness (SUN),
Modesto, CA, 92105, (415) 777-0777, which is a partly owned corporate
spinoff of Sinceriety International of Podunk, Ohio, will launch a
satellite tomorrow night equipped with several thousand tons of Tide
Pre-Spotter mixed with Windex and a temperature resistant applicator toward
the sun in a daring and risky endeavor to erase Sunspot 756, shown in the
acompanying photograph.

"Ole 756 has gotta go," SUN Chief of Flight Operations Randolph Randolph
said today. "Heck, it's five time bigger'n the earth and just
keepsgrowin'. That much dirt could do a world of hurt to the hotel folks
down in Florida during Spring Break. They ponied up the dough and me an'
the boys is gonna buff up Ole Sol so's them cute coeds can get a good tan."

Mr. Randolph, a former crop duster from Tulsa, says the flight in the new
Sincerity Very Fast Rocket should take roughly five hours. They hope to
fly within a few hundred yards of the sun's surface and apply the special
cleaners in a large exteriorly mounted spray bottle made of heat resistant
tiles. The applicator arm, manufactured in Canton, OH, at the Burt Waxwing
Applicator Arm for Cleaning Sunspots Off Your Window Works, will be used to
rub out the dirty spot and return prosperity to southern Florida, badly
damaged by, when last measured, a 32 percent decrease in tanning rays at
the beach. The 3M company of Mineapolis, MN has developed a new adhesive
in cooperation with Sincerity Pretty Sticky Glue in Fresno, CA. This is a
nationwide project.

"Heck," Mr. Randolph, of Tulsa, says, "Maybe we ain't got no beaches, here.
But we sure got dust, and we know spots. Who better to clean it up than
us. Don't toss out that speedo yet."

Mr. Upjohn was quoted as a great supporter of this project, saying "GOOD
HUNTING BOYS! And remember, Keep your Mars Bar in your rear
pocket when facing the sun. We support our Asstronauts.

I just looked at the SOHO pictures, and it's big, but I don't think
it's big enough to need the applicator arm :) A couple o' guys with
squeegees should do it.

take care,
Scott

Why Sincerity Cigarettes, of course!

"They make you feel good!"

BTW, this just in:

I forwarded Sinclair's message toRandy and the fellows just as they were
about to take off from the parking lot at the old Ford Three Rivers Plant
where SUN has its space center. It's not too far from the largest Wal-Mart
in Michigan. That's where they got all of the Windex and Pre-Spotter for
the outside tank.

Randy asked me to have youtell Sincair and the guys and girls back at
Coldbutt they'd love to do that but can't case the stuff gets all squishy
during the five hour ride. They're towing their stuff in a special
Sincerity Six Pack Cooler made under license by Coleman. They'll haul it
in when they make their frst cleaning run at Ole 756.

You probably know that they'll have to slow down a bit on their turns, and
they don't want the tow rope snaging on one of the Solar prominences. Last
time they lost a case of Three Musketeers that way.

You can listen in on their conversations with Sincerity base on our
internet station: Sincerity Space Radio. It's real good pilot talk. Randy
went to Pilot Talk school with Chuck Yeager and graduaed at the head of the
class, despite the fact that his last name begins with an "R".

We'll give you a transcrt of their conversations later.

Sincerely,
Orville D. Sprugg
Director of Communications
Sincerity Universal Cleaning

PS: You probably already know this, too, but Randy and the rest of the
crew trained on some of your own Bill Leaming's flight simulators. They
were real complimentary about the Pilot seats, and all. Said they felt
like they were driving their motor homes.

Well, after loading the Sincerity Real Fast Rocket, they didn't have any
room left for their SEVAS (Sincerity Extra Vehicular Activity Suits), so
they'll have to use the applicator arm. We don't want them brave boys
getting a sunburn! ;)
