VPN Problem sending & not receving

Hi All

I had managed to get the VPN PPTP up and connected

Looking at the VPN connections seem to be sending packets but only
shows 506 packets receved?

Server side router Netgear adsl/firewall sbs2k3 prem 2 x NIC staticIP
from ISP.

Laptop side router netgear adsl/firewall W2k sp4

The Laptop connects to the server no problem & on Sunday i could use
RDC "remote desktop connect & IE http://servername/remote.

I made no changes to router settings eather end & monday VPN connects
but when I try RDC I get an error cannot find server & IE did't work
eather?.

Yesterday I managed to get connected to the server using RDC & IE for
about 10 mins then logged off the server RDC & IE remote Disconnected
the VPN to take a quick look at some thing on the net www.

2 mins later I connected the VPN fine went to connect to the server
using RDC & I get the same problem????.

Any help please
