Ethernet cuts out on boot up

When I boot my PC from cold or when it reboots my Ethernet connection isn't enabled and in order to get access to the internet I have to disable it (so it's grayed out) and re-enable it. I've tried Unchecking the box 'Allow this computer to turn this device off to save power' but that didn't fix the problem.

I have Foxconn Blackops X48 board with 2 Broadcom Ethernet ports. I've tried all manner of different drivers in to try and get this work (since I have two ports I've tried August drivers on one and June drivers on the other) but this didn't solve the problem. If anyone has come suggestions I would be very grateful for their opinions.

Just to be clear, the drivers you've tried are for Windows 7?
