I am putting together a budget system for my parents. It will be used for very basic stuff, web browsing, pictures, word processing, and some mp3's. So I dont need anything super fast, a simple Sempron/Celeron 512meg 40gig system would be more than sufficeint for what the system will be used for. So any advice on what hardware to go with?? Id like to keep the budget as low as possible. Please give me some ideas on some budget equipment, which mobo, cpu....etc
thanks

While you're making a budget system, y not build a Micro ATX system so it can be sleek and cool too!
3000+ is good for this kinda thing
512 ram is fine
if youre SURE theres gonna be no games on it, just stay integrated. otherwise go with a 6600 gt or something like that, only around 100 bucks.
even tho u said 40gb hd would be enough, the minimum standard these days is at least 80. id stick with at least 80 gigs.
