Urgent Help Required!

My system finally arrived, and I built it, double-checked, checked again, plugged everything in... and it started!
However, it would not let me load windows. It would just restart when it got to the Loading Windows Screen. It allowed me to boot from CD, but instead of taking me to the Windows Installation screen, it just booted windows and restarted again.

My Specs are:
MSI 945P Neo
Intel Pentium 640
2 x 1GB DDRII-533MHz Kingston ValueRam
GeCube ATI Radeon X1800XT 512MB
Seagate Barracuda 160GB 7200RPM
Lian-Li PX6070PLUS
Sony DVD DRU-700a

Any help would be appreciated, I can't sleep!

what power supply are you using?
when exactly does system reboot before windows intall screen or just after?
you can reseat your ram or try one stick at a time.

geez another problem that has something to do with MSI

sounds like some instability - PSU, heat, ram (speed/timings - one of em)

I am using an Enhance Electronics 500W PSU.
BTW, I am recycling my Hard Drive from my previous build.
Mostg of the time I see the Windows screen for a flash before the screen flashes and the system restarts.

Windows typically freaks out after an upgrade :-(

You either need to install windows again in another directory or try a repair install ( good luck ).

agreed - windows always freaks when you switch whole systems, and a fresh reinstall is in order
