I install a program under administrator's login. It creat a icon on the
desktop. By clicking on it, it works fine.

However, when I login to computer with limited user login, I can see this
icon. When I try to run this application by click on the icon, I can see the
system is struggling to try to do something. But the application cannot be
started.

What did I do wrong? Please help.

Hi,

You need to install it under that user account, as it needs to have certain
registry entries created. To do so, right-click the setup icon, use "run as"
and enter the admin name and password. More on running and installing
