Internet Explorer Loss Of Pictures

I have suddenly lost the ability to see any Pictures using my Internet Explorer 5.5.

I cannot see any Pictures on the Internet.

I am running with Windows ME. and I am in 1024 x 868 32 Bit Color Mode.

I have an ASUS A7V Motherboard with a Diamond Viper II APG 32 Megabyte Graphics Card.

I checked my Motherboard settings, and everthing is ok.

Everything else is fine, and I can view any Graphic Files such as TIFF, JPEG, Etc locally, on my Computer in Windows using programs such as Paint, Corel Draw, Microsoft PhotoDraw.

This suddenly happened, since last night.

I have Verizon DSL, and I checkedwith another Computer and it is ok so the problem is not with the ISP.

Have you tried Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Restore Defaults ?

I wonder...what is the speed of gravity?

Or indeed... Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

Scroll down to Multimedia.

Check that the 'show pictures' checkbox box is checked (so to speak).
