I currently have my settings at 570:591. When running F.E.A.R the the highest temp I've seen is 61C (using ATI Tools). Sound like I'm on the right track? I've upped my 3dmark score to 5996 (from anout 5780 or there abouts as well). Going along with this - would it be worth it to try and push the clocks up some more, or should I just be happy with where I'm at? I'm using Stock Cooling (I adjusted when the fans run using ATI Tool as well). I spent a good portion of time playing Painkiller Black as well and the temp usually hovered between 52-58C.

Shouldnt you be getting around 6000 marks without overclocking the x850xt. What is the rest of your system spects. I recently purchased the ati x850 pro and with overclocking and not pushing it too far received a score of 5600 without oc with the default clock was around 5450 and that is in a system that isnt fresh and has alot of extra crap running. Altho I think its time for a fresh install tried out mce2005 but too much crap runs so going back to win xp pro.

everything is at default speeds below

asus P4P800 Deluxe
p4 3.2 prescott
1.5 gig ram Corsair xms
ati x850pro

Yeeha. I won't help much with your temp problem, but your computer spec is very long! I know just about everything about your system except the color! :D  No offence meant!

Probably a 3dmark system overview or something similar hey?
