How do I get rid of this screen?

its in the manual. i would give you the proper answer but i seem to have lost my manual, i think its under "Boot" then change "Full screen LOGO" to disabled...

pres del to get to bios on start up...

nah.... thats the ASUS LOGO boot screen... i want to get rid of the screen that was after the boot screen...

There is no way to get rid of that particular screen. It's the BIOS's report of what it sees in your system. Possible causes of why that screen is so slow, could be some misconfiguration in the BIOS itself (auto detection of HDD's or perhaps BIOS is assigning IRQs or other resources that windows could do). Or perhaps initialization of your OS is taking awhile (drivers maybe).

This is the diag post. Ther is a setting in bios for Fast Boot, or quite boot.
As for as the logo, the only way is a bios hack.
There are website that have instruction for doing it. Asus use to have a program on their web site that allowed you to replace it with what ever you wanted. You will have to do you own leg work on that.
