LGA 775

What is the best option for LGA 775 CPUs?

I've read there are a lot of temperature problems with the stock heat-sinks

Any advice would be appreciated.

if you want to stick with a 775, just get a good $70 hsf and you'll be fine

not saying anything about th, but intel guys can accurately say that stock hsf works better than most of the aftermarket hsfs they've tried cauz intel guys tend to buy the worst products on the market

EDIT: in all seriousness though, depending on which processor you bought, the stock hsf is probably pretty good, but if u knew what you're doing, it doesnt beat a cnps or xp

yup... i'm wid crashman on this. stock cooler will do just fine. in a lot of cases stock coolers perform identically and sometimes better than aftermarket solutions- though this can vary widely.

As you can see, there are worse solutions than the intel stock cooler. keep in mind they were overclocking this 3.0Ghz P4... so don't be too alarmed the temps.
