Hi All,
this is to tell you that i installed Win XP SP2 on my
computer. Reading the newsgroups and viewing the problems
that some of the users are having when installing SP2,
the process of installation, verification, windows
customization and installation took me almost ten hours
to have it completed (download of 107MB over a dialup
connection). the most important is that the sp2 was
installed successfully on my computer with zero fault
with no alarms. i am quite happy as i did not encounter
any problems.
i just wanted to share with you this one.

Congratulations!

For others on dial-up who do not have as much patience as Sarah, there will
be, or is already, available a free CD from Microsoft containing SP2.

Hey Sarah, Sarha also here..
I am very pleased with sp2. I had to format and repartition my 120 gig
drive (slave, so I debugged C drive, and formatted it as well, installed
windows, and went to windows update, and sp2 was there and I was advised to
d/l and install. It all went very well, 93mb's I think, and it's super, no
errors, crashes, and it has it's own pop up blocker.
I also set up my home networking to share files and printer and that went so
smooth, I need some real wood, knock knock lol
So anyway, all is good. I guess the sp1 stuff is incorporated in sp2,
because I went back to windows update and got driver updates and didn't see
anymore to get.

Happy camper
Sarah
