OK so there are the drivers [forceware] for Geforce 6 series.....but then on sites like GURUOF3D.com therea re custom drivers......are they better?

Also on nvidia's website the forceware is till 81.98 but then on G3D there are 82.....and 83 versions?

I don't think the drivers are necessarily better per se but I know they have certain tweaks and enhancements for different games and such. I haven't looked recently (also used the ATI Omega drivers) but I think it says somewhere on the site what the mods are.

The 82 and 83 drivers from nVidia are not WHQL certified, still beta so it's a use at your own risk deal. Usually doesn't make a huge difference but there are some bugs sometimes.
