New Hard disk opinion

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s

or

Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6V250F0 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s

Take your pick. Both will do just fine. I have always had good luck with WD drives myself. If your just using the drive for storage look at the 8mb drives if they are cheaper. 16mb would really only benefit you if your using it for the main system drive or a game drive.

I got the WD and its good... are you buying the OEM version or retail
I got the OEM and had too RMA it and the replacment works great
