More Information

Just installed everything yesterday. Hardware install was flawless.

Installed XP SP2 and installed motherboard drivers. Got on the network with plug and play success.

Had to reformat the OS, and since haven't been able to get online. This time I am running XP Corp SP2.

Only Network device recognized is 1349(not sure numbers off hand) Network Adapter. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but the device is functioning properly.

Any ideas? I manually ran the Realtek NIC drivers off the motherboard CD and nothing appeared to change. Also, my network switch is occasionally blinking collision. I have tried multiple cables etc.

What would you try next?

As I am thinking more about this at work...

Could there be an IP conflict? That may explain the collision. However this is a DHCP network, so I have no static IP's.
