SPECS:

3200+ Venice
Gigabyte K8NSC-939 (not best mobo, but it has AGP :) )
2x1gb (dual channel) Corsair xms 3-3-3-8 @ 2.5-3-3-7
520W Aspire PSU (cheap-o)
DangerDen Watercooling

DATA:
FSB: 250
MULT: x10
HTT: x4
VCORE: 1.4v
TEMP:
IDLE: 21*C
LOAD: 28*C

PROBLEM:
ok i REALLY want to oc my cpu more, but im maxed at 2.5ghz

i understand that lowering the htt would allow me to get a higher fsb. i should prolly do it too. i understand that i must have a really nice cpu because i can hit 2.5 @ stock vcore(1.4)

just looking for some tips to get my cpu up a little higher, looking to break the 3ghz barrier :)

im assuming ur ram is holding u back

also drop the ht to 3x

other then that use si soft sandra burn in tool to get stablility at that speed then continue from there
