Get some higher-than-default terrain mesh.
http://www.avsim.com has lotsa files.

Hi Erik~
I agree with Matt... for visual fun, terrain-mesh upgrades from Avsim
are wonderful to fly over at 5000ft or 35000ft! I have downloaded most
of central america and venezuela, and the carribean too. In addition
there are great mesh upgrades of France, Germany, Italy and the Low
Countries.

Also, go to http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php
for a complete listing of freeware scenery, both terrain and airports
worldwide.

cheers,
Pepys

Erik,
I would suggest getting some high-resoluition terrain mesh for the area
that you fly around the most.. At least 38-meters ought to do it. If you can
find it, photorealistic VFR scenery is always nice, unless you spend most of
your time above FL10. Then I would suggest an add-on AI traffic program,
there are several good programs available. I use a program calles
"GA-Traffic" but it is mostly for general aviation use. Of course there are
a ton of good add-on aircraft available. And then I would see about getting
add-on scenery for the area that you fly in. The only thing you need to be
careful of now is to not go TOO overboard with add-ons. FS2004 with enough
add-ons (scenery, mesh, AI traffic, etc) will soon bring the most powerful
supercomputer to its knees. Take care....

It is a complete map of the world with flight planning and everything you
would need. I never fly without it. It is a fully integrated plug-in for
FS9.

Look at

http://www.fsnavigator.com/

You can download it and use it 20 times before buying it, but truly, most
people buy it.

Cheers,

Quilly

It was a typo John. One that gets most of us when we mis-type the word
we want but accidentally hit a wrong key. Unfortunately people like me
that depend on spell-checkers to catch typos will not catch something
like that because it is a word that most spell checkers reckogniz.

So if you look at the sentence you can realize that the word "most"
doesn't make much sense and it becomes apparent that the author was
asking a question but mis-typed a word. Sometimes it's difficult to
catch but in this case it's easy for most to see that replacing one
letter in the word will all of a sudden clarify the question and then a
person can answer that question clearly and intelligently.

But another case in point can open a second question, "is this person
asking the question I think he's asking, or is it a question that he
thinks he's asking." Then you must re-arrange the sentence structure to
imply..

Darn, dinner, gotta go.

My current fave is ActiveSky (www.hifisim.com). Not freeware, but worth
every penny.

I also like Ultimate Traffic (http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/). If
you'd prefer a freeware traffic add-on, Project AI
(http://www.projectai.com/) is the same thing, although getting it up and
running will take a bit more work.

Add that to the fact that the original poster is in Denmark and most
probably has English as a second language, I think he did pretty good. ;-)

"Reckogniz"?

I think your spell-checker either needs to go back to school or stay off
the saus. :)
