i dunno if i should get the 165 or 170. They are almost $100 diff and i know the 170 clocks to about 2.9~3Ghz. The FSB for the 165 is gonna need to be way over 300 in order to reach similar clocks of the 170 which is pretty high and most components dont run that high. Is it worth it to get the 170 for that extra 1x multiplier?

IMO no. Get 165 while you still can.

THE CHEAPER ONE WHICH IS THE OPTY 165 but if your lucky you can get an oem opty 170 for 389 LIKE I SAW IN CHINATOWN :D
