slow down temp was default at 135c and i thought ther is no way ill
see it that high unless the fan failed
but i was wrong

so far i still have the record lol

Here new weak yet cheap?, its 112 million tranistors, low by todays standards, yet can do 1080p hdtv. GPU/VPU NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS // NVIDIA GeForce 6200 with TC
Core Code G72 // NV44
Manufacturing Process (microns) 0.09 // 0.11
Core Clock 550MHz // Varies (300 - 350MHz)
Vertex Shader Pipelines 3 // 3
Pixel Shader (Rendering) Pipelines 4 // 4
Memory Clock Varies (800 - 810MHz DDR) // 700MHz
DDR Memory Bus 64-bit // 32/64-bit
Memory Size 128 - 256MB (Up to 512MB with TurboCache 2.0) // 32 - 64MB (Up to 256MB with TurboCache)
Memory Type DDR2/3 // DDR1
Its bottom liner direct X 9 WITH TOP ENDS BELLS & WHISTLES POKED IN, yet new to market. http://www.hardwarezone.com/articl [...] 3&id=1833. Probably overpriced, yet stepping up for some. 16X slot only 6.3 gb/sec thruput.Cool to cold is my impression. Above stuff on left of // is new replacement for on right is old :?:Kind of update of junky stuff.yet thats newest I've seen, today.Hardly worth posting about except coming up of specs, May meet todays needs for many.Remeber its basicly 200 series now labeled 300.200 is more less dead ,even for built in. if worried about temps, slip a vf700 on it (make sure you still have good airflow inside your case)

same if you want to upgrade to 7800gt and don't want "high" temps, which i recommend over a second crap graphics card (hell, you could sell ur current card to sweeten that option even more for you).

details on the first ATI based card to fully support HDMI-H dcp http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=950DCP. This may be not as HOT as you wish, yet it will last into future software copyright wars/software problems. My first post here will be better as price goes down ,simply because todays Graphics cards way outpower mainboard, so spending less can give results todays software/hardware has half stepped up to. While this may not be most powerful, lets face it, theres huge financial burden with sli, while sli in tiself is admission of poor engineering. Maybe this area called "HOT" is something to avoid for while.aS 75% OF MONEY SPENT ON 7900gtx512 OR 1900 xtx 512  IS IN EFFECT, WASTED, BY POOR MAINBOARD SUPPORT,at this time.Signed:PHYSICIAN THOMAS STEWART VON DRASHEK M.D.

Not to question your integrity, but I would have to see that to believe it... esp in an OC SLI configuration. Unless of course you're using an aftermarket cooling solution- then I can believe it.

Would you mind posting a screeshot?

Maybe it's ironic that there is a separate forum, but shouldn't you post this in the overclocking forum??

Wow those are some high numbers for your gc. I know that it take around 115* for the threshold but at temps like that causes some slight decrease in performance as well. Do have plenty cool air running inside your case? Is your case has a good ventilation?

Mine used to go over 65* on full load on BF2. But I made some modification on my side panel and cut two holes to fit a 120mm and 90mm fans for cool air intake and exhaust for my graphics.

It didn't just cool my gc to 55* full load but it also lower the case temps as well as the cpu, chip and ram.

Man it's the first time I heard someones gc go over 100*! I could even feel my room heat up with my gc around 55* let alone over 100*.

I can see going to TOP END stuff may not be your solution, as 7900gtx512 or 1900xtx512 take over 700 watts to reach peak performance. Perhaps your system needs few things your not using turned off, lan or firewire, Clean fan blades, sit near cool source of air, turn off running processes you arn't using on task bar, etc. Maybe X4XX level card(s) or simply realize that pushing present card may not add much performance, as mainboard has to parse info thru its controller, which adds tons o' heat, controllers can heat up more when not used than in use,if signal is still present & paarseing creates that blockage situation. Big heat sink or small heat sinks on surronding controllers may be inexpensive help.Seems less HEAT problem to address than actual card, as you 6600 should be quite good for while, till mainboards get caught up.Signed:PHYSICIAN THOMAS STEWART VON DRASHEK M.D.
