I've had this mobo for about a year and the northbridge fan went out, I'm not sure how long i've been using the pc with the fan being dead because the only reason i noticed is that I switched cases to one with a window. I just need to know what kind of a replacement fan I should put on there? Any ideas?
Match the size of the old fan with a new fan and try to match rpm and noise level (if its marked).
Also might contact the manufacture to see if its still under warrenty.
Do a google search on chipset fans and I am sure one will show up.

enjoy 6 bucks will ge tu a new fan if it listed on the list it prolly is
if not yah best bet would be to look for one at some online retailer like newegg
There's also this Pink Aluminum one, but I'd stick with the copper.
I've got an NF7 as well and had to replace the northbridge fan with this one. This was a known issue on these boards and Abit was supposed to address it on the Version 2.0 (which I have). Mine did last longer the most everyone elses, but it still went.
This fits perfectly but you won't be able to plug the fan into the motherboard header (at least I wasn't able to) because it didn't use a standard 3-Pin mini connector like most. I just plugged it into an available line from the PSU.
This will also give you a chance to use some quality Arctic Silver for a thermal comound instead of the cheap white stuff.
