apogee doesn't even come close to the Storm's performance, they are on totally different levels.

storm outperforms teh apogee by a mile(plus apogee has bad craftsmanship...)

in short

apogee = mcw5000...but with a new look

What concerns the reviewer had were checked tested before wide release...the Apogee is fine for what it was made for. Decent performance, less flow restriction and lower price. If you want better performace, go with the Storm of the 2 - get a good strong pump for it though...at least 1 gpm

Just put in my order for a STORM block. Next question is what is the best why to remove all the thermal paste from my CPU & existing heatsink?

I think most everyone uses a soft cloth & rubbing alcohol. There are a few products out there designed specifically for the task like ArtiClean. I think it makes it easier if the paste is being really stubborn but I haven't tried any of it myself...

Same here i've heard how to do it, but never actually have done it myself. Well I guess its time to learn then right? :)
