Scan says I have 64-bit width bus--Can I buy Windows 7 in 64-bit mode?

Hi. Just bought this computer and know virtually nothing about it, yet. I want to buy and use Windows 7 in 64-bit mode. I did a scan and the scan says I have a 64-bit width bus.

Does that mean I'm good to go with Windows 7, 64 bit?

Thanks!

  1. Download and run the CPU-Z utility: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cpu-z

Select the "CPU" tab and check to see which "Instructions" are listed at the bottom of the "Processor" section. If "EM64T" appears there, then you'll be able to use 64-bit Windows.
