Yeah, I know, it says 7800GT but it's priced at £193 whereas the 6800GT and 6800GS are priced barely below this figure on the same site so I'm concerned it's a typo or something. Would this card be worth the extra few quid over a 6800GT?
Other cards on sale on the site are 7800 GTXs and they are close to £100 pounds more expensive.
Basically, is there something about that Point of View 7800GT that I'm missing cos it's the cheapest I've seen anything with the number 7800 on so far.
Assuming that you haven't any of the 6800 series, go with the 7800gt.
But if u already have one, u have to take a look at your pockets and see if it worths the upgrade
I believe the 7800GT is better and 193 pounds sounds about right, it sells for about $280 in the US.
Good card at a relatively attractive price.
Keep in mind the 7900 is being released in a few days ( on the 5th or 8th of this month if I recall correctly ) and it will hopefully push prices LOWER
Cheers for the responses. I was thrown by the price in comparison to the other cards on the site. Didn't seem right but will be getting this shortly along with a x2 3800..... Gaming goodness is coming my way.
