From the info onnline, the AM2 is basically similar to the 939 but with DDR2 capability. IMO it wont mame much of a differance in performance.

By the way what happened to that FX socket 940 gig a little while back? It kinda just seemed to die along with the FX51 and 53, or is it now exclusively for servers?

And whatever the heck is with Intel's Xeons on Socket 604, or doesn't it matter since no one uses them anyway?
