Can someone please tell me what the difference is between a PDA and an XDA ?

Thanks also can you help as i need to know what the difference is between
creating an image for a PDA to a laptop would be and whether i notes and m
notes are one of the same just i notes is for laptops and m notes is for
PDA's ?

an XDA is a model name,
