hello, and thanks in advance to anyone

the usb here is just completely refusing to work, and i have no idea why. USB 2.0 driver is installed (with the xp service pack 2, when trying to install from original cd of motherboard it says 'xp already has this installed' or so)

in bios usb is enabled, legacy usb is auto, fullspeed and so on - everything in the usb section is turned on

its been like this for a WHILE already, and note that it never actually worked - since the start the usb never responded, i just didnt care because i didnt need it, until now, obviously.
also, ive practicly read the entire motherboard manual, not even half a word about such problems - only jumper comp wake-up and such other useless stuff.

if anyone has any idea or had this problem before - help is appriciated.

did you install the Intel Chipset Driver?

do you have any USB ports on the front of your case? if yes then try disconnecting them from the MB then try the ports at the rear

still no luck, then the SBridge is prolly fried
