Question about Value RAM

Noticed that most users on this forum tend to say that a person should shy away from value ram. I understand this in regards to overclocking, but what about a user who has no interest in it and just wants to game? Will Value ram work fine for gaming?

it works fine ; the price difference certainly isn't worth the performance difference. With a good graphics adapter, a nice processor, a normal harddrive and a normal motherboard, a person is able to play games with very high settings,

for example a nice system :
cpu : 3800 amd x2 64
memory : 1 gig value ram pc 3200
hard disk : 7200 rpm
motherboard : asus a8N-E
graphics card : 7800GT

I have always used the value ram from corsair or crucial. I dont really overclock and have had no problems.
