And that's without shipping and without the BFG 6800 Ultra (search for BFG 6800 Ultra on eBay - they sell for around $200). Add just the video card and we're at $1400. Add shipping and it easily breaks $1450. I'm asking $750 for the whole system. For that price I can throw in a cheap keyboard and a Logitech MX518 gaming mouse if you need them.
I'd be willing to install Windows XP Home if you provide the key. I have an OEM version of Windows XP as well that I can throw in, but it's up to you to try to get the computer registered with Microsoft using it (and good luck becase they told me that adding a new hard drive = new license required...)
I could ship this (USA only), but I'm really hoping that someone local to Cleveland, Ohio is interested. If not, the buyer would obviously have to cover shipping costs (and processing costs for PayPal if that's how you want to pay).
Check out my ebay feedback under username homsardude. Feel free to e-mail me through eBay to verify.
**Local pick-up gets a free set of Logitech Z640 5.1 speakers.**
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any feedback or questions.
Yup, throw in a 7900gt or better and it'll be awesome. Honestly, though the 6800 Ultra works very well. I play Oblivion without a problem on fairly high settings. HL2 works perfect at the highest settings possible (including HDR and AA). Doom III, Battefield 2, UT2004, etc etc all play wonderfully as well.
It's a great machine. I'd love to keep it around, but I just need the money right now.
You may bump as many times as you want, but after the 3rd, it will ask you to register your credit card or other for payment, as its $3.99 per bump after the 3rd.
I have a prospective buyer for the whole system, but it's nothing definite. If he doesn't end up taking it then I'd be willing to split out the parts. I'll post again in a day or two and let you know what happens.
