Hi, My question is as to wether these kinds of ..(autosync? multisync?) specialist types of monitors can be run with a common or garden p.c? ..the model number i'm particularly interested in is GDM-1930SG. I'vre been told that there maybe certain converter cards available.

May all your pins remain unbent. :)

I have a SGI 1600SW LCD and use an multilink adapter to connect the LCD to regular video card.

I know there are some of these monitors floating around on Ebay. The multi-link adapter is the weak link isn't it? High priced if you have to find one separately?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; In practice, there is.
