RAM benchmarks way below NVIDIA baseline

I've got 2x 512MB PNY DDR400 PC3200 in my system ( ASUS A8N-SLi Premium). ASUS provided a benchmark test called NV Performance, which compares video, storage, and memory against a baseline mark.

My video and storage always test much better than the baseline nvidia, but the memory is significantly lower in the benchmark. Anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

I didn't think of that, but that could very well be my problem. I'll have to check when I get back home to see if that's what happened.

NV Tune tuned my system for me. I've made attempts to overclock the CPU manually, but I kept hitting the threshold and it would restart my system.

I don't see how he could be underclocking the memory to achieve an overclock. The Athlon 64's have locked multipliers... so the only way to overclock is to increase the memory clock.

Maybe you mean raising the timings of the memory to overclock it?
