I have a weird observation, Sandra Lite 2005.r3 is reporting my CPU temps at 39c, ASUS PC probe (two diff versions) reporting my CPU temp at 46-47c and it does not vary at all. When I reboot and check the bios it says its 39c and then drops down to around 36-37c. Is there a problem with PC probe and my computer? I recently put the Thermlatake Silentboost RX K8 on the cpu with arctic silver 5, so its going to take a few more days until that settles too.

That's common for that to happen. Usually, software monitoring has some sort of bugs in it and won't get a good read off the sensors. I would trust the BIOS readings over the software versions. In any case, your temps are within range anyway. I wouldn't worry unless they climb upwards of 70-80C or so.

Something to notice is, in certain motherboards, a BIOS revision will make the BIOS check a different sensor in the CPU, and it could report a diff temp, usually one that is higher than what a different sensor is.
