I recently purchased a business card CD ROM called Print Perfect put out by
COSMI. I am running a E-machine (40 gig) with Windows XP. The CD package
indicates "System requirements: Microsoft Windows 98 or higher (XP
compatible).
(From the back of the CD sleeve)
1. Close all programs
2. Place CD ...
3. Click the Start button, then click run
4. Click BROWSE
5. Select SETUP (or SETUP.EXE) and click OPEN
6. Click OK and follow the instructions on the screen.

All is well until I get to # 5 - NO setup or setup.exe comes up
What do I need to de-activate to get this program to run on my system ???

In My Computer, right click on the drive with the CD in
it and select Explore. Navigate to the setup.exe file
from there.

Mal - yes - I went to the control panel, and all I get there is "setup .file
does not exist - try a different name.

As for the my computer - click on CD - select explore - setup.exe is not an
option that comes up

Thanks for the help so far.

Do a search on the CD for setup.exe. It may be one level deeper in the
directory. For example there may be a Win98 folder with setup.exe and
a Win XP folder with a setup.exe. So the path would be
d:\winXP\setup.exe instead of d:\setup.exe. Just a guess bit I've ran
across this a couple of times.

You might also see Install.exe listed as some Win 98 programs used this name
for its setup program.

Hi,

Shortcut: Click start/run, type D:\setup.exe (assumes D is your CD drive
letter, if not change it accordingly) and click "ok".
