DOA Mobo?

I finally got to build my computer, with the following specs:

Intel Pentium 4 640
2GB DDRII-533 Kingston ValueRam
MSI 945P Neo
GeCube X1800XT
Enhance DarkKnight 500W PSU

Now, everything ran fine... except for a few baffling issues.

1. It refused to install from a Windows Professional SP2 CD. It would only boot from a Windows Home.
2. My PCI WLAN card won't work. I tried every slot, even took it to a tech store, where they tried a different card. Does that mean my mobo is screwed?
Everything else runs fine though! Weird, huh?
Help, the blowtorch is getting closer and closer...

Did you disable the onboard Lan? No previous experience myself with wireless, but if I had onboard lan (your m/b has 10/100/1000) and a PCI NIC I would make sure the onboard was disabled 1st if there was problems accessing the PCI NIC.
